Hello and welcome to my ePortfolio!

I have created this portfolio to share my professional and creative work as an educator, public speaker and scholar. I spent more than 20 years in local and network news as a broadcast journalist. Now life has come full circle, as I have returned to the very classroom where I was nurtured and mentored. Now I stand as as associate professor of journalism at my beloved alma mater, Howard University. It has been a process, but in the words of Maya Angelou, I "Wouldn't Take Nothing for My Journey Now."  This new career is a calling that has opened a plethora of opportunities and experiences.
